Rd x Rd's Top 10 Vermont MMA'ers
As we are now less than a week away from the return of Round by Round's weekly show, we thought it would be a great time to put together our list of the 10 MMA'ers in Vermont. The caveat here is that the fighters can be from VT, NY, NH but must have competed in Vermont.
For those that made the list, your hard work and talent have shown through. There may be some missing from this list that others think and believe belong here but we can only include those that we have actually seen fight. Feel free to pass on suggestions to us and we will take a look at each one and see if they too should be on our list.
So without further delay here is our list of the Top 10 fighters in Vermont, regardless of weight class:

Bring MMA to Toronto and New York State

You can get involved even if you're not from Ontario. Take a second to sing Showdown Joe's petition and get the Ontario premier to allow MMA in Canada's largest province. You can click on the title above for a direct link to the petition or type in the email at the bottom. Here are the details:
MMA Expo media sponsor and host of MMA Connected, “Showdown Joe” Ferraro
has been offered an opportunity to hand deliver a petition to Premier Dalton McGuinty but only if the number of signatures are significant. The required number is quite high, in fact more that the UFC's record attendance at the Bell Centre in Montreal (which was over 21,000). You can sign the petition even if you reside outside of Ontario.
You might have signed other similar petitions in the past – including the MMA Expo petition back in 2006! – but this one is different and could in fact have a positive effect on the Premier’s decision.

New means of connecting

Great Interview tonight with Aaron Fondry who is going Pro! His first bout will be March 13th at Burlington Brawl VII. He will follow that up with another anticipated bout at Burlington Brawl VIII, with a couple big decisions down the road, including some potential that might lead toward Strikeforce! Congrats to Aaron for reaching this crossroads, and we'll keep you updated as he progresses in his career.
